The Specs: remodel of a 3100 sq.ft space with 2200 square ft of selling space in Wayzata, MN.

Client Challenge: Take a “slightly too small” space with odd entrances and make it into the villages premier jewelry destination. Do it quickly and within budget. Give it character and customer interest.

Grid 3 Solution: Create a spiral staircase to access the second floor, placed red glass tile in the entranceway and accent the drum shaped walls with shadowboxes. Tiger striped wood floors and copper wrapped workstations add interest. LED lights, and cherry showcases make the jewelry pop.

Final word: The client loved the outcome and has enjoyed outstanding success in the new space. The timeless materials and detail will ensure the long term success of this Wayzata landmark.
