WORTH
WORTH is a personal shopping fashion house in New York. When they leased the balance of their floor in the Garment District, GRID/3 was called in to integrate the space redesigning the lobby, configuring the new Design Studio and creating additional Executive Offices. Planning seamlessly linked the existing space with the new.
The large windows, an architectural plus in loft-like spaces provide daylight for the designers who create the twice-annual collections.
Environmentally friendly materials: bio-based flooring, no VOC emitting paint, uni-colored linoleum / cork wall covering and aluminum drapery provide rich texture for the minimalist palette. Energy-efficient lighting with T5 fluorescents and self ballasted metal halide lamps uses 1.5 watts per foot.
A myriad of storage spaces of different sizes house the designers’ swatches, accessories and books. Like WORTH fashion natural materials and elegant design provide a distinctive brand statement.
